"El Primer Heroi"

The book “El primer heroi” or The first hero In English, is a book wrote by a Catalan writer called Marti Gironell is a novel based in the history of one tribe who lived about 5000 years ago or even more. Marti have some other interesting books, for example “la venjança del bandoler” which won the prize of the historical novels. The book explain the history of a clan, the clan of the horses and specifically the life of one of the most important members in the clan Ynatsé, who with the help and the advices of the magician of the clan, Baasi will go much more far than all the other in the tribe.

This boy is one of the best hunters of the community, he really knows how to use some different weapons like the sling, which is a type of catapult that you can use whit your hand and it allows you to throw little rocks so far away, we is really intelligent and he can be the best leader of the clan, ‘cause he have the best ideas in for example how to hunt the horses using no only the strength unless using the voice or maybe the fire to guide the animals to the corral.

The intention of the writer is to show a different point of view of this period in the history, he want to finish with some false and negative thoughts. He does it giving a lot of detail in all the things even the less important for the main plot.

In conclusion it’s a really interesting book if you like the principal idea or theme, if you don’t like the history to much it can be boring. It’s a long book so you need to have a lot of free time to read it. In conclusion I do enjoy reading this type of books and I really recommend it.
