Netflix Series

In the actual situation, we do really have a lot of free time, and we need to spend it in some interesting or entertaining things, for example the one that people like the most is, watching Netflix Series, so today I’m going to speak about some of the series I watched in the quarantine time and others I watched before, but I recommend for now. First of all, I’m recommending the two the two series I have speak about in the other entries in the blog, Vikings and Peaky Blinders.

Apart of this two I have some other recommendations, for example the End Of The F***ing World, this series is about one boy who’s a psychopath and wants to kill someone, he finally found an objective, a girl called Alyssa, to kill her he plane to scape with she and his father’s car to a place where they were alone to kill her in an easiest way, finally he can’t because he fell in love with the girl and the became so close friends and a bit more than just friends. The two teenagers in their trip, they kill a person who was trying to rape Alyssa, but finally James save him. This is really interesting story with a lot of sarcastic and funny moments.

Another series I recommend to you is DayBreak, its plot is that a day, a bomb or something like a military weapon turns all the adults in monsters like zombies and only the young boys rest intact as they were before the explosion, all this story is involved in some really cool sarcasm and it gets really fun to watch it. Now in the end of the first season there is like a really estrange climate between the main characters, because when the main character finally arrives to his objective, who’s another girl, she escapes from him and the series get a radical plot change.

One other recommendation for me is “vivir sin permiso”, a Spanish series which is talk about the life of one drug dealer in the South of Spain, in Galicia. He knows that he have a mental illness, he have Alzheimer and he wants to stop the drug traffic and leave to his children a clean business. That gets more complicated when a new police chief arrives to the city, he want to take him and he try it by all means. He has obviously some other family problems, for example any of his children loves him and one of his daughter is from another mother, he has always tried to help him, but he regret this help and want to live for his own. Finally all the problems and the Alzheimer will put this character to really difficult situations he will have to solve.

Sex Education is a really good series for the teenagers, which show a point of view really different from all the rest of the teenagers’ series. Is a boy whose mother is a sex therapist and he know a lot about this theme because he usually listen to his mother in the consults and she give him some advices. He apply this advices and knowledge in the high school to solve the sex problems from the other collages in change for money, he do that with his friend Maeve, he finally gets in love with her, but when he finally forgot him another plot change takes part in the second season. Finally I would say that it’s really funny because of the rhetorical course of the succeeds. It’s really recommendable for people in a young age, if you’re older it will be difficult to understand the humour and maybe they won’t like that much the series.

The Witcher is a good series if you like other like Game of Thrones, because they are all related with the war and magical people with superpowers. The main character is as the name of the series say, a witcher one of the last and he use his magic and his power to save a girl which is his destiny. In his travel he knows a lot of different characters which are so curious and they bring a bit of interest and happiness to the series. For example one of them, is so silly and so sarcastic, he always put the Withcer, Geralt de Rivia in very difficult situations that makes him use his magic to defend the two of monsters and other creature over the human. He begins the hero of the history and he try to save the girl which is selected for her as his daughter. It can be funny for the apparition of some characters in the scene.

This one is a shorter one, the capitols are shorter and is really surrealist, it’s called disenchantment and his plot is that a girl, his demon and finally a friend of both which is like an elf. They live in a castle and they really life different and interesting adventures to save the queen. Finally all get in a general chaos because of the action of some really estrange enchantments. This is a cartoon series, is all in draws or computer animations, like for example the Simpsons and the way of entertainment is like the same, they want to make the people laugh, it can seem as a series for children and little boys, but not at all, because it have adult containment, for example, the main character is all the time drugged, he’s always drinking beer, so it’s no so recommendable for the young’s.

Another one I have recently watched is Kingdom, with the name I feel interested in it, the series take place in China were an illness appears in the King of the territory, that makes the dead people return to life, but no as normal unless as a monsters with hunger of human blood and meat. That is really hard to see how the people who pain the illness get sick and start killing and biting other people, that’s really hard. 

The hero of this series, is the inheritor prince, but son of another mother, not the Queen, so the most important people think that his is not legal that he heredities the throne of his dead father, so they turn the King into live another time meanwhile the Queen tries to have a baby, which would be the real hereditary. So as he is no the prince who will have the throne, the important people in the kingdom tries to kill him, he finally escapes and try to find a cure for the illness which is affecting all the kingdom, the rest is history, if you are interested you’ll have to see Kingdom to know how that ends, I invite you to do it, because it will get all even more interesting in the next season.  

Finally here I present you The Last Kingdom, this series were in TV3 for a period of time, but I saw it in Netflix, the main character here is Uhtred of Bebbanburg, who in first he was part from the England kingdom but when they were attacked by the Vikings when he was only a little child, he finally get captured by them and grew up with them, he have an history in middle of the two bands, between the Vikings culture and the English kingdoms, he sometimes get with the Vikings and in some others with the Christians, it’s finally objective Is to recover the territory of his family, a castle and a very big kingdom. That won’t be easy at all to recover his heritance but if you want to know if he finally can recover it, you will have to follow his history, maybe it is still in TV3 online so you can see it in Catalan, but if not you can watch it in English is Netflix with the original voice.

In resume I think you can spend your free time during the quarantine watching some of this seri9es which are really interesting and will make this exhausting term to be shorter than you really think, so if you have another series to be commented for me or do you want to recommend the other people, don’t be shine by leaving yours in the comments.
